Film Plan

The Film will start with eerie music with slowly moving black and white moving images introducing characters and the setting of the film. A voiceover will occur telling a previous history of the murdering linking the film title to the film. They will also be a suspenseful under tone within the music to further create an eerie feel.

The film will then cut to a group of media students mid conversation talking about what and where they should film. They begin to get spooked when they hear an extraordinary sound, which puts most characters on edge.

The music will begin to build in suspense as the characters become more and more agitated the camera will follow the characters carry with their media project. Just as suspense starts to withdraw the camera will cut to an overshot of the killer looking at the media group while they are blissfully unaware.

The media group continues to film moving throughout the location being the woods followed by the killer. With camera shots tracking the group and the killer subtly appearing in shots closely behind.

The media group finally stumbles upon a location for the media project and begin to film but just before they begin to role a character disappears. The remaining characters instantly become panicked and frantic.

The two characters begin to look for their lost companion but catch a glance at the killer and run throughout the woods desperately trying to escape. After a while the character finds herself alone and isolated. And while walking trying to find her way out of the trees she runs into the killer once more. The camera then cuts to a long shot of the killer with the female character over his shoulder and a filled white bag with blood stains in his hand.

Permission/Problems

The light conditions has to be fairly bright in order for us to film as in the woods there are no streetlights which can be an issue when trying to view characters on screen.

The woods are not owned by anyone so can be used without permission so we should not encounter any problems while film in the location chosen.

-Fake blood

Film Synopsis

A group of teen’s head to the woods to do some filming for their media project when they begin to get a little anxious after a series of suspicious occurrences and losing a friend they are really on edge. Catching mysterious glimpses of a silhouette they start to wonder if they are the only ones in the woods or is their friend playing a trick.
